The tags i learned today was how to align my paragraphs and change the heading sizes. These two tags are very helpful in creating a unique layout of the web page. I think it makes the page look more advanced.

intro to html

I learned how to make breaks in the line. I also learned how to start and end paragraphs. I used W3schools to help me in this process. I want to know how to change the color in my paragraphs and also how to change the font.

When editing my images I used Photoshop. All I really did to each photo is crop it. For example, the tiger with the blue eyes, I cropped it to focus more on the eyes. After editing my pictures, I saved them to my computer. Then, from my computer I put the file name into html format and it worked!

Intro to HTML

I used W3schools.com to help me with my web design. I also used the tutorial to help me create the web page. After, I then preceded to create a web page and saved it to my computer!

Html quiz

I got a 12 out of 25 on my quiz which I think is pretty good for not learning most of it. I believe once I learn the rest of the stuff I can get a better grade. The ones that I knew were easy because we spent time learning them. I still need to learn a lot more codes and what they mean. Also, I need to learn how to set up new codes.

When I was searching through peoples blogs to figure out their secret messages, I decoded a lot. Meghan Daley's was pineapples are spikey. Mia's was "corn on the cob" and Ashley's was "erasers life".  It wasn't to hard to decode these because i am familiar with it and understand it. People were very clever in the way they did it also.

Meghan and I decided to mostly to do Disney because we knew a lot about the topic and people. When we were thinking of places we chose hard things to see how smart it was. For example, the Wizard of Waverly Place Sub Shop. It took it about 25 questions to finally guess it. Then, we decided to do movie characters and it could not get a lot of them. For example, Serena Van der Woodson took a lot of questions and I finally just had to type it in. It said I had a lot of errors detected which I did not understand because I thought I was answering it right. Therefore, I disagreed with a lot of the "errors" that it claimed I made.

I looked at some peoples designs and thought all of them were really good. I noticed how some people had a different approach to everyone because some only used half the page and some used the whole page. Also, some switched the colors of the designs to make it more unique. The ones that they designed by themselves are very different because some had a round base and some had a rectangular base. They were all similar because they were all symmetrical. 

 I think i did way better on the first and second one because they were slightly easier. I haven't made much progress because I am not that good at it. Although, I did learn how to use the triangle option which helped a little. I am still just getting use to it,

My method was using the line tool. This was very helpful because instead of just doing one point at a time it enabled you to do many at once. I also found the rectangle tool extremely helpful because there is a a lot of points the same color in one spot so it helped me fill in the big gaps. These methods I used saved me a bunch of time.

Current event

Earlier this August Google owned robotics company Boston Dynamics came out with a video of a robot running through the woods. The Robo-Cop type bot was named Atlas. This video had positive an negative reviews. Some were freaked out buy it because it was what the futures going to be like while others thought it was so interesting. Some so called "science geeks" were amazed by a robot that was able to run on an outdoor terrain. In the future Boston Dynamics is planning to make more bots like Atlas.

Hello, I am Meghan Flynn. I am a tenth grader and my favorite subject is math and biology. I have a sister named Morgan. Morgan is a senior at RMHS. She is also the captain of the varsity volleyball team which I am also on. I am taking exploring computer science because i would like to know more about computers. I am not bad with computers but not amazing. I am looking forward to getting useful and cool tips about computers.
